Default Need a motor

I live in Virginia and am looking for a bigger motor for my vette. she has a 350 L-48, a 1980. The motor runs fine but am looking for something with a little more juice. Looking for a cheap motor, rebuilding is not a problem. Any suggestions on what would be a nice combination for the car and where i might be able to get one would be appreciated.

im at a stand still right now, im either taking out the motor i have and rebuilding, looking at a LT-1, or a 383. I would like to get the 383, but that will take sometime, i want to do things right. Mostly i just wanted to hear some good thoughts about a motor that would compliment the car, basically make it more of a road warrior. I'm working on her and she is driveable but no where near done, ive got paint to worry about, but just wanted to get the wheels turning on looking for a motor.
