R1 concepts has drilled slotted zinked full set for 124.00
Let me point out some things about R1.
-R1 Concepts does not double ball mill thier slots which in turn will act like like a cheese grader to your pads and gives you a shorter pad life. Their slots are not cleaning groves either and their rotors will develop cold spots behind their slots.
-They do not cryo their rotors.
-They also drill thier rotors, they are not casted that way. When you drill a rotor you develop cracks around the holes. Although these holes may not be able to be seen by the naked eye, they are there and your rotors will fail prematurely. Drilling rotors reduces rotor life but they look good if you like the bling factor. Put them on the track and you'll be buying another set. Reduced rotor life has been documented.
-We start out with a premium North American cross hatched rotor. The one thing they have going for them is that they are zinced. But mine are as well. I can also tell you that I have more money into my rotors and the process, than what they are selling theirs for. Thats gotta tell you something. You get what you pay for.
I've asked R1 about their rotors in 3 different forums and no one from their facility will answer any tech questions. Thanks for hi-jacking my thread though.
