The 69 is unique as it is a three port with a splitter valve on the other side. Does anyone have a source for this pump and especially the splitter valve?
Does anyone have a good drawing of the system with the hose positioning on the 3 port and splitter valve? The AIM and Chevrolet manual does not give ir justice.
The pump uses 3 ports, one in and two out. The two out go into a "Y" connector then on to the bottom port of an electro-mechanical diverter valve (That's my name for it) on the driver's side of the washer motor.
The two other ports on the valve connect to the wiper arm washer tubes via a tee and other runs forward to the headlamp washers.
The valve just came available about a year ago. Hold your wallet....

There are good pictures in both the AIM and the Chassis Service Manual. That dingy looking Tee connector is actually a check valve and not yet available for any sources.
Here is a picture from the 1969 Stingray Guidebook by Rick Bizzoco. If you are serious about restoring your 69 You Need This Book. It's the best $70 you will spend.
Got mine complete from Dynamiccorvettes.com for $294.00. I was referred to them by Corvette America. Most of the other pieces, lines etc can be sourced through Paragon and you can see pics in their online catalogue. Both these firms are reasonably priced and fast shipping. Good luck!
Is there a source od one way valves from another application I could acquire?
Didn't know the pump and coil was available in repro form. Thanks for the info.
The one way valves? They're around. When I go to Corvette flea markets, I always scrounge in the boxes of "junk", or the little pigeon hole boxes many vendors have.
You can find them for 25 cents to $1.00 each. Chuck

What color are the wires that attach to the headlamp pump? Buba has gotten to mine and the are gone or re-wired somewhere else.
Yes I would think so. The current is the same as the washer pump, but it's not a looped circuit. The washer pump should still work without the headlamp washer hooked up.
I will try that, I only need water to get to the front window so I can pass the Swedish inspection for imported cars. Which actually happens next week.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
