trans problem
ive got a 68 vette with a 4 speed trans. the problem is in the tail housing. there is a decent size hole in the casing that had bondo over it when i bought, must of overlooked it. so i am trying find a new housing. can anyone tell me where to find one??? also, i cant get the speedo gear to spin, the teeth are fine but when i look inside, the gear that it is supposed to grab is shifted to the side of the gear and it doesnt look like it will grab it is this normal or do i have a prob, i have never messed with a transmission like these before.
