Default Still no Brakes

1975 vette power brakes w/booster. "Brake" light came on last fall. Checked the master cyclinder and it was full. Bled the lines again still no brakes. Just changed the Master cyclinder and bled the system. No brakes and the light is still on. I'm out of ideas, any thoughts?

I would be willing to bet you still have air in the lines or master cylinder. Did you bench bleed the new master before installing it?

Okay I confess I just installed the Master Cyclinder and bled the system. I'm really not sure how to bench bleed the M/C.

Okay, well the master was full of air when you installed it, so every time you press th pedal, you're just compressing all that air.

When you bought the master, did it come with a bench bleed kit? It'll be two plastic nipples that thread into the brake line bungs, and some plastic tubes that circulate the air back into the master so the air is released and the fluid just up through the tubes and back down into the reservoir as you pump the pedal.

Do this until you don't see any air in the plastic tubes. Then attach the brake lines back up, and re bleed. I would say five to ten times on each caliper, and occasionally tap on the master and calipers with the wooden handle of a hammer to help loosen the bubbles.

Here is a recent thread on how to bench bleed. Take a look at it. If you didn't bench bleed, that will definitely cause no brakes.
