I went to look at a 70 t-top project yesterday. It needs an entire front clip (its wearing a mid70s front w/ fixed headlights). The engine is a NOM big block w/ 4 speed. The frame is rusted through.
The positives are that the birdcage is very nice looking. The door hinge area was very clean. The doors are perfect. The interior, although disassembled looked complete. It had its original rally wheels and a couple caps.
The owner was asking $4000.00 after looking at it I rally felt like anything over free would probably be too much.
So what kind of $$ usually changes hands for a heap like this?
