C3 Owners...
If you don't already know, there is an organization called the "C5 Registry."
What they are all about is this... they promote the exchange of information (both technical and non-technical) among their members while also serving as a data bank of information on the C5. They feature both C5 owners and their C5s on their Web page and in their Newsletter! The C5 Registry also participates in conjunction with many scheduled Corvette events around the country, such as National Corvette Museum events, Bloomington Gold, and Corvettes at Carlisle. They also organize special C5 gatherings, where people can meet with other C5 owners to share information, ask questions, and have fun. They have annual dues of around $65 which includes a subscription to the C5 Registry Newsletter, a Registration Number, a Personalized magnetic name badge, and a special C5 Registry window decal.
Other thoughts I had is that members of the C3 Registry would have free adminssion to most Corvette functions (like Corvettes at Carlisle) and also discounts on purchase from parts retailers.
My Poll Question is this, would you be interested in joining such an organization for C3 Owners?
I run the '70 Registry (It's free!) and we're using it as a research tool to gain information about the cars - data which GM didn't mantain, about option and color distribution and other interesting factory specifications. The sharks have a whole lot of one year only specific issues - and many years had 3 or 4 or even more engine options available. It's very very different than the C5s in terms of the range variables. Just curious about what you had in mind for it and if there would be a role for the independent registries within it.

As far as I'm concerned I get enough exchange of information here on the FORUM.
Am there, we need this, seems I am seing fewer and fewer c3s, and a ton of c5s. Perhaps some c3ers don't kow how to fix things and a good news group slated for c3 vettes is what the doctor ordered. I'm in... [IMG][/IMG]
