Default Heater core for 76 - stuck

I have a 76 with a leaking heater core. No A/C. I have been searching the threads and sounds like there were several different ways to remove it depending on the year.
As I said I have a 76. I have removed the right hand dash and center console. Removed upper ducts, removed 4 nuts on the engine side of the fire wall that seem to be holding the heater core box on the inside of the car. But it seems like there is something else holding it. Is there???? or is it just stuck. I hate to keep pulling.
Thanks for the help...

I followed the link below when changing my '76 heater core. It was exactly the same with the exception of the dash.

OK, found out why I was stuck. I had removed the 4 nuts on the engine side of the firewall but after I had pulled for a while I decided to remove the blower unit from the engine side and under the blower unit there were 2 more nuts on the studs.....

If you look there is one nut in the upper right stud and one on the lower left stud.
So it is out.
What do you all recomend for re-sealing around the blower housing? what was there has crumbled to nothing. RTV seems like to permanant of a seal.
Thanks
