What is the number of the plugs you're running? I wanted to try the Bosch Platinum, but don't know which ones to use. I need a plug slightly hotter than the ones originally used on the '74. (I'm using AC R45T; factory recommends AC R44T.)

I checked their website: it's one of those Autozone kinda programs; you put the year, make, model, it returns the recommended plug. If I remember correctly, for the '74 they recommend the 4206, and for anything later than '76, they recommend the 4208.
Thanks, daily! The post '75 Corvettes all use a "5" heat range plug, which is what I'm using now. And I have a Pertronix module and a high energy coil. So I guess I'm better off with the plugs you're using than with the ones recommended for the '74. I'll give it a try.
Rapidfires now come in platinum. Just make sure you buy the platinum version, now some left over nonplatinum stock if you go that route, which you should.
