I got a nice set from Contempory Corvette in PA last year for about $400. Install was fairly easy. Track modification as described above was time consuming. These seats are much more comfortable than OE seats and about 15 lbs lighter each.

Excellent idea! That's the sort of thing where I smack myself on the forehead and go "duh"! If I can get about an inch of tilt forward, I think the seat will feel a lot more comfortable.
