Just get 12v to the starter, then a switched 12v supply to the START terminal and another switch to the coil. Don't forget the temp and oil pressure too.

the two starter button wires will so from 1. the main lug connection from the battery positive terminal to 2. the "S" stud marked "S" (closest to the engine on most GM solenoids)

the start terminal will draw too much current for most toggle switches. If it fries it when the starter is engaged, you won't be able to stop the starter unless you unhook the cable.
Be better to get a regular start button and run from the battery + either at the battery or the battery terminal at the starter.
