Pre-ignition/detonation
My engine with all the solid lifter noise, S/C whine and loud exhaust makes hearing detonation impossible. I know you can tell by reading the plugs, but are their any tricks on how to detect knocking that I may have overlooked? Dyno time and advancing timing until power drops off?

Best article on it I ever saw. You could install a knock sensor with a light. My 2 cents
