Default Upper Dash Pad

What is the difference between a 1973 and a 1977 upper dash? The catalogs list 70 through 76 as the same and 77 separate. I can get a used 77 for a good price, but will it fit?

Also I would like to thank all of you who have helped me with all my previous posts!! :) :) :) :)

ya it will fit but the difference is:

I believe on '70-'76 there was some sort of stitching like on the door panels(near the door pull), but on '77 it was just flat with no stiching. I have never seen this to be true, but I do know my '77 has no stitching, so if your 70-76 does...then thats the difference. Hope that helps;

Daniel

Thanks Daniel, I love your paint and am still deciding between yours and the nassau blue.. Do you know the amount of pearl added to the lemans? If I picked lemans then I want exactly what the have..

Thanks for the complaments :D

As for the pearl addition. I don't believe it was much, in fact you don't even notice it unless your up close, so if you do go with lemans, and want pearl in it, just tell them to put a very little bit, also make sure they write down the amount they put in, in case something happens and they need to match your paint...of course, they have computers that can tell them what hues are in your paint to match it exactly(even if its faded)....
So that really doesn't matter anymore;

Daniel
