Default Fuel pump - another question

This is likely one of the dumbest questions I've asked so far...... which one of the two connections (both 3/8NPT) is inlet and which one is the outlet ???? There were no instructions in the box and I can't find any useful info on Summit's website (that's where I bought it)... trying to find inlet/outlet without disassembling this thing....

Nothing marked on the bottom of the pump I bet. It's too pretty.

I bet the port you can see in the pic is the inlet/suction side.

I'll look again if I can find something, f.e arrows would be nice...... I thought that the lower port is the inlet but I'm not sure.

Looks like I have to rotate the bottom part anyways to gain more room for my lines........

i bet if you put a piece of paper taped on one side by the hole and worked the lever it would either suck in or blow out telling you which one it was.

Default Take a look at your stock pmp if u still have it.

Heck i opened mine (Carter) several times until i got the inlets and outlet where i wanted them to reduce sharp bends in my hoses & lines. But now i can't recall which is which. But don't be afraid to open it up and have a look - its good experience. And i gave my gaskets a light coat of vasoline for preservation. BTW my Carter has twice the number of screw holes so i was able to locate the inlet/outlet within 30* rather than the 60* limited on yours.

Ok heres my guess: Bottom hole is inlet, top is goes out'a.

Good night.
