Battery Not Charging
1979 L48,
took my alternator out and had it tested, it tested good but my battery will not charge in car. Any help? I'm kinda a new to the car work want to do as much as i can myself.
note: everything is working just runs down the battery.

I would suspect the battery first. They can show a 12V charge but not have enough capacity any more to store like it used to.
How old is the battery and do you have a tender to keep it fresh while you cannot drive it?

yea, get the battery checked, that would be next although it would have been my first check.
Also look at all the battery connections, both ends, make sure they are healthy. Also make sure the wire from the alternator output is good at the alternator and the small one on the + side of the battery. There may be a fuse link back there in the battery box also, it protects the battery from a faulty alternator
