Default 2004R Install Questions-

1980 L48 Stock

I am in process of finishing the install of the 2004R in place of the 350 using the BTO system.

1. Is the top line the return line to the trans from rad on the 2004R?

2. The braided trans line that is provided comes out at the bottom of the rad has a 45 deg angle to it and it will not fit in the space. It either interferes with the rad hose or it interferes with the torsion bar?? It seems like it should come straight out? Anyone have this same problem? And what did you do?

top connection on the tranny is out to the cooler, bottom is return from the cooler. I don't know how it was connected atthe radiator, but ya know, in and out don't really matter much, nothing magic about the direction.
