Default 1980 Side Mirror replacement

I am trying to replace my drive & passenger side mirrors on my 1980. I removed the door panels and it looks like I can get to one of the screws but the other is blocked by the window. Anyway to change these out without removing the window? Forgive me, I just ordered the maintenance manual so this should be my last post regarding this type of issue!! Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,
I removed the sport mirror on my 82 by removing the top bolts holding the front window track and just loosening the bottom bolts. This allows enough room for you to access the nuts holding the mirror on. There will be marks left by the track bolts so you can return the window track to it's original position.
Good luck,
Tom
