GM serpentine system 12497697
Has anyone used this system for a C-3
I am thinking about putting it on my 75. does anyone have pics and maybe a measurment from the block to the front of the nose cone on the water pump I set the car up with an electric fan mounted inside the shroud extension and my space is limited.

It appears that uses a reverse rotation long waterpump, so there are some potential clearance issues. That being said, I know of several forum users who have used the Camaro/Trans AM Serpentine setup which also uses the reverse rotation long waterpump, and they have made it work. Other issues may be hood clearance for the alternator, depending on your year of C3, and the hood that you are using.

I have one installed on my 1977 Corvette's 350, and one installed on my 405 that's going in my Corvette this fall.
The tip of the water pump pullet with bolt heads will come to about 7.5" from the block face, measuring from right above the timing cover.
Here is a pic of a Jeep Cherokee reverse rotation fan on a long water pump. It clears everything nicely.
