Stuck in Gear - Help
Today I put my 4spd. transmission + clutch back in and I was re-connecting the driveshaft back to the transmission yoke. I grabbed the shifter rod for 3/4 gear to put it in neutral, then I was able to rotate the trans. yoke to mate the driveshaft + u-joint. I put it back in gear by moving the 3/4 rod again and then I tightened one side of the U-Joint. I then put the rod in neutral again so that I could rotate the driveshaft but it ain't movin' now. I got out from under the car and checked that the shifter was indeed in Neutral. Then I tried rotating one of the tires forward (car is on stands) - won't budge either.
I have checked and double-checked that I am in Neutral but it feels like I am still in gear. P/Brake is not on. I must be missing something

Easy to do, put each one back to the neutral position and go from there.
