steering lock cable
after installing the t/t column in my 70, i found that the cable bunches-up at the trans reverse lever rather than pushing the steering lock lever up far enough to unlock the column. the locking lever moves freely and i think that i've got the cable installed properly since i can pull it manually.
my question-if i simply secure the lock lever in the up position, will it have any effect on the operation of the steering?
