i believe i read something somewhere that said if i was going to buy a vette i should buy one that i find to be perfect...not just something i am willing to settle for. am i lead to believe this is right...even if it means i should wait a little bit longer for that year to come around even though it will probably cost probably a lot more? thanks.
you heard right, that is unless you have the patence and the means finachally to restore a car. PERSONALLY, I'd rather restore one, just for the experiance, but if you get one in perfect shape, you will run into a few things that need to be done, so you will get some experiance that way. For example, if you pay $15,000 for a perfect car, you will spend $10,000 for a car that needs about $7,0000 worth of work to become the $15,000 perfect car.

Re: QUESTION ABOUT BUYING A VETTE?!?!? (wigi93)
I wish I had done it that way. I have spent far more time restoring my Vette then enjoying it. Oh well, my blood, sweat, and tears will be someone’s pride, joy, and toy next Spring.
I would agree with Daniel, but also add that depending on the year(s) your looking for you might wait MUCH longer for your "perfect car". Depending on interior and exterior color choice/combo's, engine and transmission options, etc. wrapped into one car.
You might be in for a very long wait to actually never finding that perfect car that's within your price range. This of course could upset ones sensitive tummy :U :U :U :U
Ok...I too like the barfing smiles, and had to incorporate them :D
