Have had it, sold it. It is not worth $100. You can get it tinted with the real stuff for same cost. Insert causes a distortion when looking back through rear view mirror, and scratches very easy.
I sold mine to former forum member with that caveat but he was still very pi**ed at the results and even me, for some reason. Stiffed me on the cost of shipping and I spent alot of time finding the box large enough to ship it.

I had mine done with one piece. They told me that there are new techniques in the last years. Looks great one piece. Light silver metallic color to the dark tint. Matches my silver 82 nicely.

I'd like to use plexi for some weight loss but I don't think I could live with all the scratches. That stuff is pretty soft and one wipe with a rag is all it takes to make it get worse and worse.

I've had one for three years. Looks great, but does NOT help with heat. It acts like a chimney and produces tremendous solar heating in car! I'm going to find a good tint guy! :mad

I took mine out. It was great on sunny days (apart from the extra heat) but was a real PITA in the dark - visibility out the back was terrible & I had to fit 2 backup lights to be able see anything when reversing. They do scratch easily but removal was simple, so it should be easy to fit. Surprisingly, it didn't rattle much!
