Default just an opinion....

after swapping a very nicely built 700 R4 for a 4 speed and having both fresh in my mind, i can honestly say that there is absolutely no comparison if your preference leans towards pure and raw transfer of power.

that is all....

I just swapped my TH350 for a Muncie. I've got a little longer on the restoration, but I can't wait to drive it.

In my opinion, they never should have made a corvette with an automatic.

Automatics are for daily drivers and consistent ET's.

I always think it's sad to see an automatic Corvette.

I won't drive an automatic Corvette until I am physically unable to drive a stick!!!

I couldn't agree more. My swap to a 4 speed was well worth the headache. I can finally feel the power of the engine. Bad thing is......now I want more power. More power = more money.

Should have installed a 5 speed and really gotten the full benefit of a manual! Just my .02.

The only reason for a automatic transmission for me is bracket racing... Other than that, a stick a 100 times the fun!!

Somehow that handle just gets you closer to the machine.

Just one question, why not a manual with an overdrive?

I can't wait to add more gears to mine.

More is good. (I'm running a '69 5spd and an '84 6spd.) Change of subject: I heard they're building a road course out by the KC airport. Any info on that?

Anytime anybody asks me about my corvette, they always ask if it's a 4 speed. When I say yes, they just nod their head in agreement.

It's the only way to drive.

I must admit, when I switch to a newer car with a hydraulic clutch, I darn near push the thing into the floor.

Aside from the website, http://www.kcimotorsportspark.com I don't know anyone with too much information. When it was announced all the local new sources thought it was a great idea and have never spoke of it since. I know that they have already started selling memberships. Personally, I can't frickin' wait. I bought a DSLR earlier this year and can't wait to go take pics there.

IMHO, shifting is part of the driving experience.

I drove my buddy's C6 this weekend and I hated the clutch feel. I think I could mash that thing with my pinky toe if I had to.
It felt too much like a honda.
