Would you guy a 1053 Forged GM crank when Scat or eagle makes 4340 cranks for the same price?

For that matter why would you pay their insane amount for a nodular Iron crank?

I still have a bit of concern regarding the pedigree of the Scat and Eagle components. If someone can clear up where they're made I would appreciate it.

So is there a good reason to buy a genuine GM 1053 forged crank with a 1 peice RMS for the low low price of $564.95?

No, I would lay you money they are getting theirs from oversees as well. I used to work at Midwest in Marysville, Oh and we supplied most of the parts to Honda but also supplied parts to the big U.S. three as well, all of our stuff was made oversees, we were just a warehouse that sorted them and shipped them out.

Eagle components are from Southaven Mississippi, just minutes from downtown Memphis and Beale Street, USA
