I am entering my 69 427 roadster in this june survivor event...my car only has 12,000 miles on it but the paint job is an old cracked-up laquer....My question is ....I do not have the origanal BUILD - SHEET and heard you can have those conjured up...are these reproduction crap or worth the $$$??? how about the protecto plate WHO does the highest caliber reprduction documents of this nature...should i spend the$$$ mike i
personally I wouldn't waste the money. I good, experienced judge is going to easily tell the difference between a real PP and build sheet and a reproduction.
It would be better for you to spend the $ on an NCRS judging guide. It will tell you all the things you will need to pass the "Survivor" catagory. Reguardless of paperwork...the good judges know what's original & what's not. Especially the paperwork!!

The cracked up paint job will not make a difference in judging. They will check 4 catagorys, engine compartment, underside, body, and exterior. Build sheet does not matter. Do not paint or change anything, like valve covers etc. If you have a scapbook about your car or any other documentation, take it with you. They have a part about scrapbooks also.Lots of fun hope you enjoy! LT
