While I was gone my wife deceided to use my truck instead of her car the result was not good. I don't know where she went but one of the tops ended up on its back and now it is in less than show room condidion if you know what I mean.

Re: Astro tops (Aaron76)
I looked in to the one piece tops also. I never heard a favorable thing about them.
I heard that they were flimsy and that the hold downs were bulky and that it wasn't that good.
I did however trade in my busted glass t-tops, to the same company, and bought the acrylic plastic t-tops. It is a regular t-top with plastic instead of glass. With the factory alarm on my car I must have a top with the rear retainaing pins, and the one piece did not due this for me. The t-tops work fine, just like the originals. And they are half the weight of my glass tops.
I think the quality is just fine for the t-tops, but did not want the hassles that came with the 1 piece top.
I had a one piece top from Astro, it cost me about three hundred dollars and while it worked, I wasn't crazy about it. It is flimsy and the hold downs are arkward to use. the company who makes them is a good company and they do nice work on their other products and work, it's just that these tops aren't really that good, but that's just my opinion, They do have replacement t-tops if you are interested in them or I know that Contemporary Corvette at 1-215-788-8693 and they have a lot of used tops for sale?
