Default Spark Plug wires?

Hey all, I'm in the market for some new plug wires. I was wondering if anyone has done any testing on different wires? I've been using the MSD 8.5mm Super Conductors and they worked well. I do have an MSD ignition box and I seem to recall them stating not to use solid core wires with it.

So what's the recommendations? TIA

Email this guy. He's got the perfect wires for you. Taylor Spiral Core wires. They come long so you can cut them to your own custom length and you terminate them yourself for a trick fir. He has varying thicknesses, 8.5 up to 10.5, and in varying colors. He's a cool guy to work with. Tell him Matt sent you.

Taylor is one of my favorites.

The reason for NOT using solid core wires with an MSD box-- RFI-- rdio frequency interference. the wires will affect the signal(s) that control the firing of the box. Same thing with your radio, it will make so much noise with solid wires you won't be able to hear any music.

Mike - The only wire for a real car like yours are the Taylor 409 race wires.

I'm tonight down on the hot Vettes. I am going back to to 125 shifter Karts. I almost lost my vette racing and decided to get a dedicated race machine.

Aren't those the 10.5" wires? I would have bought some as I found a set new for $65 but I would have to replace the looms and I could get a set of the 8.5" Taylor Spiral Core for half that.

How about 8.5mm wires and using all of the factory shielding? I want to keep the block shields along with the rest but I've been wondering if that extra .5mm is enough to make for some tight spots....
