Default Another carb question

After the car has been run for an hour (typical daily commute) and parked for 3-4 hours, when I go to restart it, it barely keeps an idle and I have to give her a little gas to keep running. After a few minutes all is well.

Could I have a bad choke or accelerator pump?

Sounds like it is boiling the fuel out of the carburetor. What year are we talking about.

If the choke works good in the morning then it sounds like its not reengaging after its slightly warm.Try rotating the choke a little tighter.

The other possibility is that the carb might just be a little on the lean side at idle. Turn BOTH idle mixture screws out 1/4 - 1/2 turn and see if it helps. Not that a Holley SA is the same carb as the Q-jet but my SA always behaved like yours until I rejetted the carb and had to adjust the idle mixture. Runs great now during warm up and after sitting like yours.
