wheel hop
76 auto L48-- last year, the e-brake was dragging so i put it up on jack stands. had both tires off. put trans in drive to see if i had it fix, and i did, but i notice the right wheel hop. it went up about 1/2 - 3/4 of a inch. i thought it was bad u-joint, so replace all four. that didn't fix the problem. and there isn't any noise coming from the wheel. i check for a bad bearing, but it seem to be tight. anybody have any idea.

This is normal for both sides when jacked up with wheels hanging. You might have something wrong with the side that is not hopping. Probably something binding, and not letting the suspension fully drop.
