Default Correct Horse Power?

I sure do get alot of great answers from you guys on this Forum site. I'm trying now to find out what the correct horse power my '75 has. Whoever ordered it in '75 did so with a 350, A/C, a 4-speed, no pwr steering, nor brakes, 3:36 posi rear end. I've been told it might be 245 horses or 265 horses. Does anybody know for sure?

I believe the '75 was rated at 165 hp net (the L48).

check your VIN. if the 5th character is J the you've got the L48, if it's T then you have the L82. L48 in 1975 = 165 horsepower, L82 in 1975 = 205 horsepower.
