Default Auto to manual conversion

I have a couple questions regarding installing the clutch pedal in the keisler automatic to manual conversion kit.

I have the dash and steering column removed and have removed the old brake pedal and have hung the new brake and clutch pedals, but my question is, where do i install that bracket on the firewall(people that have done this before i hope you know what im talking about) and how do i get the clutch rod that connects to the bracket through the firewall.

Im very confused and if anyone has some guidance i would really appreciate it.

Have you cut the hole in the floor yet where the clutch rod goes through. The hole is just to the right of the fuse box. You will see that the hole is already cut in the steel floor but not the outer fiberglass. You will also the three dimples which you drill out to screw the dust boot on from outside under the brake booster. The boot is a pain to install but you will get it. Go to my website here and look at the pictures.

Nice work, Binnie77. Your trans tunnel plate for the shifter makes me want to re-do mine.

Did you use Keisler's titanium/aluminum bell? If so, do you know what it weighed?

btw... I went thru converting to a manual (muncie) several years ago. It was a PITA, but absolutely worth it.

I did use Keisler's bell but not sure of the weight. Perhaps Richard from Keisler might chime in here with the exact weight. No question in my mind, moving from auto to manual rocks!

I am with you fellas...I did the TKO600 swap last summer from a th400...I decided to keep the car.

Jiber -- not much help on the cable setup as I went with the hydraulic clutch assy.

However, if you need help on other install issues, dont hesitate to PM me. This install can be challenging at times
Cheers,

Crunch

Thanks! Can't swing the T56 right now, but I'm very strongly considering replacing the very heavy LW with the T/A bell, together with an SFI clutch, when I get my BB build-up done.
