Default New Gears and Speedometer Gear
I am changing my rear gear from 3.08 to 3.36. How do I figure out what Speedometer drive gear I need?

i think you can do it like this:

# of teeth
---------- =
3.08


# of teeth
--------------
3.36

Thats a change of 9%. So you multiply the number of teeth on there now by .09 and see how many teeth that is. Add that amount to the number. ie. 1.09 X what you have.

Duke - is there a chart for autos? i had my 81's gearing changed from 2.87 to 3.36 - i seem to be 5 miles high at 55. Thanks
