Anyone have a slick way to repair the reverse lockout cable that keeps kinking down at the transmission shift linkage lever? I was thinking about silver soldering the cable end to stiffen it????? Anyone have a better idea.....short of just disconnecting it .....
The cable must be binding on something. Did you try a little WD-40 on it?
Yep, I soaked it in PB Blaster. It's not in a bind now, but I think that was the initial problem. Once the cable is bent, It appears to weaken the cable stiffness. I have repeatedly tried to straighten it with no success. Just thought I would ask if there were any tricks out there.

I just sold one earlier this year. I think TNBUSA may still have his lockout cable. Send him a PM and check with him. I know he had one too at Corvette Expo earlier this year.
