Where are you guys mounting your coils? I need to get mine in but can't find a good spot that I like for it.

Huuum you got rid of the HEI, your intake should have the two
holes at the back to use the original earlier coil bracket.

I mounted it to the fire wall. Well, now the car is more like it should be. I romped it from a complete stop and the car was instantly sideways. My initial timing is 21*. as for my total, does 47* at 2500 sound like to much? It runs like a bat outta hell.

Even with my large cam I don't want any more than that? I guess it shouldn't be to hard all I have to do is look at a chart and adjust the switch inside accordingly.

No, the Blaster is the coil, the distributor is a MSD E-curve. The advance is all computer operated.

Depends on what you call "total". If the vacuum is disconnected, it's too much - if connected, you're golden!
