400 block bored .0335", bubba strikes again!
saw an ad in the local paper for a bored, align honed and decked SBC block with ARP studs for $375.
Guy says it is sized for forged pistons that require an extra .0035". He does not have said pistons. It is bored .030 over PLUS .0035" :rolleyes: .. also has cracked steam holes, that might not be a problem.....
Well, at least he told me over the phone. :)

It may be for a marine engine. I was looking at at a 454 for mine that was built as a marine engine. They're bored "sloppy" for extra clearance. The one I looked at was bored .0445.
