Do a search for LARS here on the forum. He is the Q jet guru. He can offer advice on parts etc or rebuild it for you. If you drop him a line via email he will send you his list of services etc and costs.
I rebuilt my 75 Qjet with help from Lars and the forum. It was the first time I had even looked at a carb!!! Just remember to take pics of each thing you take off etc to make it easier rebuilding. Just one word of caution, Just because you have a picture of how it was before...doesnt mean Bubba hasnt already been in there and put the wrong parts in the wrong place...lol...ask me how I know!
It's about a 5 for an average mechanical type person. Not too bad if you take LOTS of pictures. If you want a super job done for you, Lars comes highly recommended, and he tests them. Me, I looked at it as a challenge. Kinda like working on a 30 year+ old car...
BTW, I may STILL send mine to Lars if things don't work out!
I sent my Carb to Lars; I consider myself a fairly good mechanic and I have the book by Doug Roe but I really wanted it perfect! So lars was a no brainer!

I think im going to go with Lars. I waiting on for a return email from him.
I dont think i want to mess with it. Too many small parts for my 2 left hands. You know the old story., You can pay me now, Or you can pay me later...=) I think id rather just get it done right the first time.
