Temp. control cable 1970
Hey guys, Anyone else with 68 thru 72 having probs. with the temp. control cable for the heater/A.C. Can't seem to find the original style cable, and the replacements that they claim "will work", don't seem to be very well made. The one I bought lasted only a few months and came apart at the end that attaches to the heater box. Had to in fact do some minor fab. and mickey mouseing to get it to even mount up. It is styled nothing like the original at the heater box end.With VERY little use because the car was down most of the winter. it broke in a very short time. Anyone no where the original style might be found?
