Default Engine building, up to date comparisons?

I have been looking into engine building and found the following link very helpful
http://www.ryanscarpage.50megs.com/combos1.html

Has anyone made an up to date version of this page? some of the builds are over 15 years old and I guess things have moved on somewhat.

Perhaps we could compile a list of what people have built here and get something up and running.

After 632C2's 1374 rwhp post, my almost stock 75 L48 is looking a little weak!

I have always been jealous of the guy that is happy cruising
around in his modest powered car just enjoying it. I once built
a solid cammed 396 put it in my car ran it less then a month,
nothing wrong with it, pulled it out wanted more power, I had
a stouter 454 before that time in a different car so I was not
happy with it. People that don't have the power disease are
lucky it sure costs them a lot less money to have some fun.
I blame my older cousin for this power addiction, when I was
14 he let me drive his moded 64, 327/365 hp coupe on the public
streets one night for a short distance.

lol... To be honest, I enjoy my Vette as she is. I had lots of things I wanted to do/change when I first got her but, now I do little things and enjoy her.
Its just, sometimes...I want to floor it and see her smoke the tires! Instead its like, oh, what, you want me to go faster? ok, lets go...lol

I guess Im thinking of a project car, a wreck that I can make my own and have all the horses I want!
