Replacing power and ground wires.
I am looking at replacing my ground wires that go from the starter to the wipper and continues in series around the block as they are old and brittle.
I found a red spool of 14 gauge, red spool of 10 gauge and a black spool of 12 gauge from my old car audio days. I was thinking of cleaning up the mess of wires and putting a ground block against the firewall and running a 4 or 8 gauge from the battery to this block and then run the black 12 gauge to all the grounds ie blower fan, wipper, msd etc. Then I would use the red 10 and 14 gauge wires to run all the power with a powerblock as well just above the ground block.
Has anyone out there done something like this before, and what info can you pass on?
