dash lights on 78
Can any one give me some ideas. I have no dash lights at all,
I replace the fuse but when I turn the headlight switch the fuse blows, if I don't move the switch the fuse doesn't blow but still no dash lights.
I would assume that it's fair to say that I am getting power to the right places and that the ground is ok .
All other lights are fine.

Well its fair the say that there is a short somewhere. Remember it may be somewhere else other than the dash lights though. The taillamps are on that same circuit. Have you done anything recently to any component. I can also say that the printed circuit board in those models are prone to problems. Check the circuit board, especially where the large harness pluggs up in the back.

oooh i had a similar problem you need to get the wiring diagram from ecklers (its like 15 bucks) and go through everything on that circuit and see where the short is. Good luck i ripped my entire car apart to find it.
