looking for a DIY cam and head upgrade
happy fathers day all..
looks like i have a set of votec heads
a mild hot cam
and a eldebrock intake manifold to install
this will be a first for me ...at this job
has any one seen a paper or web site with how to info ?
she's a '77 L48..got a 350 with headers and side pipes... a fresh rebuilt 700-r4 and 3.70 in the rear

I did a similar rebuild over the winter. It was my first time.
I found some good tech articles by searching google. I also found "How to Build a Small Block Chevy" was helpful. As was my Shop Manual and my Haynes Manual. I also took lots of pictures and put everything I took off into bags that were well labled.
I hope heads are upgraded for more lift or your came has less than .450 (to be safe)...

i'm just finishing the same kind of build-up. just make sure you get heads and intake bolts torqued to specs and in the right sequence. i may still have that info if you need or just do a search. you can pm me also with any specific questions.
