700r4
Does anyone have a listing of parts to build a 700r4 strong enought for a 454 450hp? I've been seraching and lot of info but don't get a complete list of parts needed. Trying to rebuild an on hand unit instead of dropping 1800 on a builder's unit

See tons of other threads on this topic, and my responses....the 700 trannies are notoriously tossing 3/4 clutch packs, and that's on a good day, do a search on rebuilder's parts for that tranny, see the lists of things that are notoriously bad....
go get a 200 4r and build that, not only simpler, but more reliable, smaller making a better fit for your car without modifications, and a much better gear choice.....

I had my built to handle that much from a local trans shop. I could Give you the list from the receipt. It was about 2k worth of parts. I told them that I wanted it built to the max. Just write me back or pm me.

See Carolina Performance Transmission(CPT)s website.They do 4L60s and 700R4s.Nitrous,turbo and bullet proof.The one in my Impala SS was built to thier specs.BEAST sun shell is the best upgrade there is and Z_PACK 3-4 clutches.
Most all 700 and 4l60 stuff interchanges...IF you have a 30 spline 700.
