turn signal
Yesterday I noticed I lost function of the turn signals. Now when I press the brake my front turn signal and side marker lights come on and turn signal lever on steering column doesn't make anything happen. Strange, and before I start looking for fuses and whatnot I thought I'd ask. I don't have a troubleshooting FAQ that lists this problem. Thanks.

It could be something as simple as the turn signal bulb being burned out. That's what I'd check first. Does either the front or back bulb come on steady when the turn lever is pushed (without the brake on)? If so, it's the other end (front or back) that is bad.

Thanks Z-man. After checking the front bulbs I then found the all-four flasher button pushed in (on steering column). Popped it back out and all my turn signal lights work as before.
Now I'm wondering why the emergency flasher button doesn't work! Oh well, at least I'm ready for the road again.
