Default TH400 Trouble....
Hi...

I have some trouble with my Transmission.
It is haveing trouble shifting automatic, and the car are missing ALOT of power. Sometimes the are som vibrations from the transmission.
It all started suddenly. It was missing alot of oil becourse I had a lose pipe to the cooler.

I have put oil to the mark again.
Checked the modulator.
And the kickdownswitch is activated when I go full throttle....
But the problem is still there....
Did I blew my transmission?

Any suggestions?

you sure its full of fluid? check hot while engine running Trans in park or neutral.
make sure Vac modulator is hooked up

Yep the oil is right on the mark.....
Removed the modulator and sucked on it.... It´s not leaking and the pin moves inside....

could be possible internal damage to tranny, especially if loss of fluid to pump was long enough . . .

Anyway to check without removing the tranny...?

Only got: Owners manual, AIM and the Haynes
