I ordered the GM 14011012 from Summit and they sent me a 14047008 pump. Its short with 3/4 shaft but I look up that pump and it's for '84 and up, not '69. Also the '84 uses reverse rotation.
Anyone know about this 14047008 pump? Maybe the housings are the same but I dont trust talking to service person.
Cant tell you jack about part numbers...BUT a later model L98 pump is set up for reverse rotation, and so will NOT work with a V belt drive....as the L98 uses the backside of the belt to drive the pump....hense the name serpentine, that SOB winds all OVER the joint...
the vanes in the pump are just the reverse, you engine will overheat badly....
