Holley Carb Problem
I have a 4160 Holley on my 70 SB that has what appears to be a problem with the secondary fuel inlet valve or float. If the car sits for 2 or more weeks, when I go to start it fuel will pour out of the overflow into the secondaries. I've tried tapping on the float bowl but no luck. The only way to fix the problem is to remove the carb and disassemble the bowl. This problem started happening after I'd gotten some bad gas at the end of last summer that coated much of the carb with silt. Although the lines and tank appear to have cleared, this overflow problem persists (not sure if they are related).
Does this sound like a rebuild situation or is there some simpler option I can try?
