Oil Filter Adapter

I hate to ask what must seem like a stupid question, but I am putting parts that I did not take off back on my motor. Does the Oil Filter Adapter on a 350 have any kind of gasket under it? Seems the pot metal like material would not seal well and unfiltered oil would leak out. Any ideas. Thanks

no, the spin on adapter/bypass bolts inside the oil filter pad. No gasket.
