Spark plug torque ??
Does anyone know if or what the torque setting is for the spark plugs on an 82 vette?
I can't find any ref in my GM manual ?? So do I just pinch them up or is there a torque value that they should be tightened to?
Thanks in advance

You don't need a torque wrench for plugs. Just make sure they are tight without going overboard. Once they get snug give it about 1/4 turn. Been doing it that way for 35 years.
thats what I figured - and thats what I had always done in the past with my "normal cars" Just thought I had better check as vettes seem to like a bit of special treatment
Thanks very much for the reply - I can go and finish the job now
