Default 1969 Value ?

I need a little help with this one since I normally keep up with C1 & C2 , not C3. I looked at this car last night. 1969 coupe, 427(original), 400, 4-speed, side pipes, posi, white instead of original green, tan vinyl, no hit body, well detailed except chassis, chassis is clean though. Guy has owned since 1976, been off the road since painted in 1986. Not sitting unattended. It's clean, runs well and is ready to ride except for trouble shooting lights and wiper door.
Thanks,
Wayne

Are you asking for hints on repairing the lights and wiper door? Those are the only technical or performance questions I see.

I think he wants to know an approx value..........what's he want for it? Alot depends. I know you said it's the original engine . Does it have the original 6 pack? Hows the birdgage? Hows the interior? Again, let us know how much he is asking. Any pics? You need to post this in the General section.

This is a section for discussions of performance, modification, and repair issues. There's an entirely different section devoted to wheeling and dealing in these "collectables". Alot depends. I agree. The General section, or the For Sale section for input and opinions.

Or perhaps he would have "gotten it" better if you had just nicely said this in the first place.

Sorry, I guess I overestimated the ability of some people (ironically, not the OP) to grasp what should have been obvious. This is a performance and technical section. And yet, some people continue on, even posting complete "what's it worth?" tables.
I like this website. I've gotten in several very interesting technical discussions, and have learned several useful things from some very knowledgeable types. But, there's a boat load of people bailing out of this forum for a competing forum due to the dilution of serious technical discussions here. I don't want that trend to continue. As I said earlier, there's a complete other section for the speculators and wheeler dealers.
I come to this section, not the General or For Sale section, looking to read something of technical value. Let's not dilute this section with non-technical fluff.
Just my opinion. I expect yours is probably different.
