Think I found my build sheet
Today I was looking under my 1980 Vette and I think I saw my build sheet. When I look up under the car I can see a piece of paper near the gas tank and I heard that is where most build sheets were placed when the cars were built. Sadly I can not get the piece of paper until next weekend due to my job and I am not moving my Vette until I find out what this piece of paper is. If this is my build sheet I will get it laminated and framed.

SOunds like it could be it. Remember it will be very BRITTLE. Take photographs of it (several) before you try to remove it. Don't just try to pull it off you're more likely to just rip off a corner that way. Drop the tank and use a razor blade an LOTS of patience to preserve it. Store it in acid-free folder OUT of sunlight. I wouldn't get it laminated. ~Juliet

Mine had come loose and had fallen between the tank and the rear differential. Once I pulled the spare tire carrier out, I was able to just reach in and grab it. Unfortunately, it was barely readable because of the dirt and grime.
